Exbucklandia populnea (R. Br. ex W. Griffith) R.W. Brown is a tree in the family Hamamelidaceae. It is known as Malayan Aspen and is native to Northeast India. This species is beneficial to the environment and ecology of subtropical regions. 
 
The seeds are minute and difficult to handle. Seed germination is 40-50% in normal populations.
